Another walk down memory lane….
As a kid in Southern California, I remember Saturday morning family trips to Ports O’ Call Village in San Pedro with my dad behind the wheel. I remember us getting to the pier in a number ways. One way was the Vincent Thomas Bridge, which was the direction I loved because I was able to see a wonderful view of the Greater LA Basin.
We would also take the bridge when I was in elementary school and we took field trips to Cabrillo Beach.
This video talks about the history of the bridge.
