The Contact:
(1990) (Starring)
Mark Rusbarsky and Maria Anne Cress. The movie that started it
all. The Contact is about a couple who lived in the fictional town
of McAllister, just north of San Francisco. Accountant Tony Miller,
and science teacher Mindy DiCaprio, were involved in an
extraordinary event during that summer. It was the early days of CGI
from Tight Budget FX, and the
effects
are primitive at best. But, that's a part of their charm
and it proves that the
effects have come a long way. Originally written in short story
form in 1985 under the title, "A Message From The Archer." Aired on
the premiere episode of Fiction Theater in the summer of 1990.

SQUAWKER:
TAKES FLIGHT (2003)
Another episode in the ongoing CUPIC saga....
What is a
Squawker anyway? A half man, bird-like creature that stands about
six feet tall, whose job as it seems is to scare the local folks in
small Oregon towns...
Think
of it as El Chupacabra or Mothman, without the goat sucking or dark
under tones of either. Squawker is the name given to the creature by
those very locals because of the sounds that it reportedly made.
What does this have to do with Johanna and Tyler? Upscale locals in
Scottsdale, Arizona have reported seeing the bird-man...
